Scooters - which is best for looks and speed?
Posted in speed scooters by admin on November 9th, 2008
Thanks for checking in on the electric scooters blog, where we talk about more than JUST electric scooters and electric pocket bikes! One of the beautiful thing about motor scooters is that they price of entry is very low, especially considering how easy it is to find cheap scooters these days. We update weekly here, so check back in with us often.
I have a Piaggio Fly 125 which is sluggish but fun. Vespa have style but are also a little slow. Any ideas?
Check out the Aprilia RS 50. Technically it's not a scooter, but a 50cc motorcycle. Licensing and insurance in most cases is the same as a scooter, but it looks much cooler and is mondo fast and fun to ride.

Get a real bike.
In my view, scooters are only good for kids not old enough to drive, or adults (Jaime Oliver - Still worried by school dinners) who hasn't matured enough to drive.
For speed, a bike is better. No contest.
And for looks, well, who cares? There is no point getting a stylish bike only to be spoilt when the helmet comes off.
